The June fire outlook shows much of the West continuing to ramp up. Above normal fire potential is expected across much of the Four Corners, Great Basin, Inland Northwest, and northern California this month, with elevated conditions also forecast for parts of Wyoming and areas along the Canadian border.
Looking ahead, activity is expected to expand across portions of the Northwest through the summer, while parts of southeast Texas and western Louisiana may see increased potential in July and August.
As always, outlooks can change, but the overall trend is clear: much of the West is heading into a busy summer.
