Family Threads and Yarn Emporium is a small batch hand dyed company that offers hand dyed yarn in several bases. We also offer project totes as well as accessory pouches. Our hand dyed yarn is dyed in small batches and every skein is slightly unique. No two skeins are an exact match. We suggest alternating skeins for big projects to avoid any color pooling. Hand wash in tepid water with a small a

mount of wool wash or gentle clear detergent. Our yarns have been washed and rinsed but sometime some color may still bleed out the first few washes.

I’ve been playing with some beautiful fabrics and working on a fun new sample kit that will be coming to the shop soon… and this one is a cozy lap-size quilt 💕

There’s just something about these soft pinks paired with those rich florals that has me so excited to see it all come together. Right now it’s all about cutting, piecing, and trusting the process (with maybe a few seam rips 😅).
