Today has been a fantastic day, doing what I love to do! ❤️🤝
Started out early this morning at the beautiful Eastwood Event Centre with my beloved Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber family at the Economic Forecast breakfast. Special thanks to Hitch-Hiker Mfg. for sharing a seat at your table! It truly was an educational event and if you missed it, I strongly encourage you to set a reminder to attend the next one! It started out with a well-deserved recognition of a company for 116 years - yes, 116 Years- in manufacturing, in Warren, Ohio - Schaefer Equipment! Wow! What an accomplishment!! 👏

Of course the Economic Forecast talked about our economy- where has it been and where is it projected to go? Including the important topics of:
- [x] Inflation 📈
- [x] Interest rates 📈
- [x] Supply chain 📉
- [x] Workforce 📉
- [x] The Federal Reserve 🏦

The Keynote speaker spoke about NATO,
Russia, Ukraine, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe. So much history and beauty in these regions that we don’t hear about, along with the projection of the war.
So much information relevant to our lives and businesses today. Like I said, if you missed this one, don’t miss the next one! 🗓 Our Chamber does such a fantastic job on the events they bring to us!

I ended my evening with my first official Home Builders & Remodelers Association of The Valley event at the wonderful Mr Anthony's Banquet Center! Meeting lots of new people and visiting with some good friends that I had no idea were a part of the association, along with some surprising blasts from the past (companies I worked with 20 years ago)! Karen Caruso and team put on a terrific event! President Andy Profanchik gave a superb overview of the value of HBA membership and salute to board members present and past. The Keynote Speaker, Senator Michael Rulli, delivered a fantastic, heartfelt, motivational, inspirational keynote! Wow!! His energy is fantabulous!! Another time of great information and fantastic networking! Oh, almost forgot the delicious food and amazing cookie table!! 😋 Caruso's Bakery

My biggest, sincerest thanks and applause to each and everyone involved with hosting, planning, and participating in each of these events. ❤️👏👏👏

A. Between 63-75% of cyber attacks are on small-mid sized companies (500 employees or less)

B. In a ransomeware attack, the amount paid to “buy your data back” is usually only 15-20% of the incident cost. The residual costs make up the other 80%, including whether or not your business even survives it!
