Give your jacket a new and a unique look!

Using a beautiful table linen to upcycle this ivory jacket. ♻️ Something different than my usual tie-dye on whites. The edges and the collar are embellished with a beautiful last, remnants of another project. See the lace details in the end of the reel. It’s beautiful by itself.

A little patchwork on your hoodie can go a long way. I did a denim jacket with this patchwork and was left with some more of this gorgeous fabric remnant. I love how the pockets came out on this one 💙

When you have the right fabric and colors, dressing your jacket is effortless. This sham cover needed repurposing and pairing it with a denim jacket was the perfect way to do so.

This was a beautiful Kantha bedcover in it’s past life and I used part of the border on the front and back of the jacket! I tried doing the side of the jacket which looked mist worn out!

This is becoming addictive 😁
Using 3 panels instead of one
The jacket was a little out of shape so a lot of work went into fixing it and CROP THOSE EDGES. The jacket looks so nice with those raw edges.
Now the FABRIC, a Thai skirt that ripped from the sides.
After doing the jacket, I still have some fabric for a mini pouch and a crossbody bag. Stay tuned for it 🙏

Did this for a friend for a wedding and now I can’t stop making these. The fabric is not old but it’s the end of the yardage and came as a great surprise in my dead stock pile. There’s plenty of it for me to experiment with.
This jacket also has embellished collars. See the images in the comments. The fabric is very thick so no fusing was required. It holds beautifully!! 🌸

Love UPCYCLING!!!
Using a print pattern from a pre loved dress and dressing up my old denim bag with this applique design. I gave it a button closure using the button from a coat. 😀 I like how this looks. Do you?

This delicate patchwork is from a vintage poncho and is now getting a new life with this upcycled jacket. The work is so intricate. There were lots of missing thread work which was not easy to repair but overall it came out very attractive.
I did the full back coverage but in 3 panels and the front yoke. I have enough fabric to do maybe 2 more jackets with lesser coverage.

Lots of beautiful fabric remnants used to give this jacket a brand new look. Small details put together to give this unique look.
I stitched the fabric swatches together first creating this patchwork to use on the back and the front yoke.

UPCYCLING with silk table runner and enhancing it with brighter embroidery to give it more color tones. This is a surprisingly simple project. I covered the upper back yoke of the jacket to conceal a rip and to determine if a full back coverage will look good. I’m happy with this and am looking at doing more.
