A big thank you to Heather Allison Heider at Van vixen farm for hosting her annual tack swap yesterday. As always an incredible turnout and a great chance to meet up with some of my favorite ladies.
It was also so wonderful to meet so many new faces and people in person who I feel like I already knew despite never meeting before.
Special thank you’s to Allison Sams who after hearing we hadn’t eaten, took Sydney off to buy us food. Amy at the The Snazzy Fox for ensuring that I couldn’t possibly leave without adding a handful more stock ties to my insane collection.
And of course Juliet Graham. I blew my back out horribly this week, honestly I haven’t done it this bad in probably 10 years. Every step and back spasm took my breath away. Juliette not only let me borrow her walking sticks so I could help ladies shop but also made sure Amazon promptly delivered me my own set today. I am beyond grateful for the friendships I’ve discovered through running this page. The hunt community can at times be challenging but what I do know is, when you need help there are always folks happy to lend a hand.

This is such a pretty color 😍 Vintage German made lightweight panel back with flap vent green/rust/brown and tan check plaid wool tweed with velvet collar and velvet covered buttons. Tagged a EURO 44 which equates to approx 38” however waist does run generously, closer to a 40” please check measurements. On first inspection it looked immaculate. When I took it outside to inspect I noticed a few very SMALL holes. Positive is due to the plaid they’re camouflaged and are barely visible.
Hole middle left side of the back, left shoulder, two inside of arm and one between the two back vent buttons. Small rust stain on lining near the collar.
Length is a little shorter than standard so suggest best suited for a petite lady.

Really lovely lighter weight single vented olive toned casual high end Duchess of northumberland Alan Paine tweed with brown/raspberry check. Velvet accents on the arms/trim/button/collar. Tagged a UK 10 approx US 6 small 8
Small hole by the collar, tiny one near the pit seam and two small ones on the back. That being said they’re not super noticeable. Would make a perfect breakfast or race day tweed.
Sold as is with no returns due to flaws. Priced accordingly.

Measures like a generous 36” with hard to find longer arm length. Absolutely beautiful example of a traditional informal, another I’ve not had in before 😍
