One of the things I appreciate most about GAIA is how many different parts of my life it finds its way into.

I can wear it for an ordinary work day at home, pack it for a trip, or pair it with something a little dressier when I'm heading out. It doesn't belong to just one season or one kind of occasion.

That versatility was part of the idea behind creating it in the first place. I wanted a shirt that felt beautiful to wear, but also made sense for the life I actually live.

And the longer I live with it, the more I appreciate that.

It's also one reason I chose two colors: river rock blue and yarrow white. They have different personalities, and I find myself reaching for them in different ways.

It's fun to see how much life one well-designed piece can have!

I’ve been thinking about the things that give us something back.

Life asks a lot of our attention. There is always something to do, somewhere to be, something to figure out.

I’m drawn to the opposite kind of experience—the things that bring a little beauty, comfort or ease into the day.

Even something as simple as putting on something you love and feeling completely like yourself.

This is what good design is meant to do.

During these hot days, I've been reflecting lately on the pieces I reach for most often.

Not because someone called them "essentials” or because they're trendy.

Simply because they fit naturally into the life I want to live, no matter the weather.

Those are the kinds of pieces I am creating through KAUTE.

Pieces that move with us through changing days, places, experiences and temperatures.

Feels like summer!

Over this past month, I’ve been paying attention to the pieces I naturally rely on.

The ones that make life feel simpler — but also better.

GAIA is that kind of piece for me.

It’s easy to wear,
easy to return to,
and it quietly elevates everything it’s paired with.

Travel has a way of simplifying things.

Getting dressed shouldn’t feel complicated.

The goal isn’t to have more—it’s to have pieces that work across different moments in your day without overthinking it.

That’s what I focused on with GAIA. Something simple, wearable, and easy to come back to again and again.

I’ve also started wearing the lighter Yarrow color more this week, which opens up even more options.

Still building, still learning, and more to come.

KAUTE is built around this idea: anchor pieces, worn well, over time. And this is just the beginning of what’s to come.

More designs are in the works, shaped by what I’m learning and what people are responding to.

For now, we start with GAIA—and build from there.
