The word is very clear that God chooses the people who you would LEAST expect, to expand his kingdom. It’s not how fancy you can dress or how eloquent your vocabulary is that qualifies you to be a vessel for the Lord. No. It’s your heart, it’s your motives. 🤎

So before you look at a brother or sister in Christ and think less of them because of their appearance or that they never went to college or they’re not wealthy or they’ve sinned “worse” thank you. Remember this scripture… 📖

“Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. The cross that the roman empire used to crucify criminals with, were not only designed to reach the maximum agonizing pain but also to humiliate and shame those who were hanging from it.

Which only confirms the very word of God when it says, "Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful." 1 Corinthians 1: 27

These people might've thought they were powerful while nailing an innocent "weak" beaten, scourged, hungry, and thirsty man to a cross, but in reality, the very thing they tried to shame Him with. Now represents our victory.

"In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross." Colossians 2: 15
