Hi everyone,
My name is Luis Canseco and here is a little bit about Fitgods Athletics. Fitgods Athletics originated as an idea more than seven years ago but it was brought to creation in 2022. The delay was a consequence of self-doubt and the fear of what people will think and say. As a disciplined gym goer, you might think that fear and self-doubt would be the least of my experiences. We can be

confident in some areas of our lives and lack confidence in other areas. During these seven years I followed the conventional path, college. Class participation and collaboration gave me a set of skills. One day while mentoring youth, I said to them, “follow your dreams, you can become anyone and achieve anything you want.” A kid responded, “What are your dreams?” That’s the day I decided to create Fitgods Athletics with the hope that in the pursue of my clothing company I would inspire others to follow their dreams. Starting a business and designing clothes was new to me and I knew it would require a lot from me. But my desire to create new clothes, challenge the status quo and see people workout in my clothes was bigger. So I started learning about fashion, technology, functional fabrics, and entrepreneurship. I’m still learning, and enjoying the process but I hope my pursuit of my dream inspires you to go after yours. Fitgods Athletics exists to empower people to stay in a constant search for their best selves; morally, psychologically, and physically. To be the best they can be in all aspects of their life. This approach was adopted by the ancient philosophy of the Nahuas who included the Aztecs, Maya, and other ancient civilizations. Decades of history informs us that ancient civilization in the Americas worshiped many gods. Hence, the term God of Fitness was idealized and soon transformed to Fitgods. We are all creators, worthy and sacred, we are gods. In Gratitude We Thrive is our slogan because to be the best we can be we must be grateful for who we are and what we have today. By doing so we don’t take for granted our abilities and the opportunities around us. As the old proverb states, the more you give, the more you shall receive. Gratitude it’s a way of life, it allows us to feel good about ourselves even when by ourselves. Always grateful, always give your best on the field, in the gym and in helping others.
