We saw some big sky and little bats last night. I learned so much about bats thanks to the Yolo Basin Foundation incredible presentation and programming. Wowwwwwww bats are so amazing and so important to our ecosystem. You’ll have to zoom in the pictures to see them but just know, there were THOUSANDS of them out there.

I’m working on a series of hand embroidered constellations of modules inspired by watercolor modules that I painted which I’m turning into larger constellations. I’m knee deep in constellations and modules and I love it. I dream colorful circular shapes.
Thank you to SEAM for the artist in residence weekend which allowed me the time and space to take those dreams, piece them all together- and see them come to life. 💖💖💖

I’m still reveling in my experience from this past weekends ‘artist in residence’ at SEAM
I think it’s safe to say I had a good time.
And also, much work was accomplished- which I promise to show more pictures of soon soon soon. In the meantime here’s a pic of me with one of my ‘module’ counterpart sets- one in watercolor, one in embroidery!
