Friday at Buttonwood 🤎

There’s just something about a rack full of texture, color, pattern, and all the little details that makes me happy.

This is the part I love — pulling pieces together, seeing what works beside each other, and watching a collection start to feel like Buttonwood.

And yes…apparently I’m fully in my olive, berry, brown + cozy texture era. 😂

In case you were wondering what in the world to wear with olive shorts… apparently EVERYTHING. 😂

I’m officially declaring it: olive is the new khaki. 🙌

Pink? Yep.
Florals? Absolutely.
Burgundy? Hello, fall. 🍂
Black, navy + white basics? Easy.
And add a little brown? SO good.

These shorts are one of those pieces that may not scream “wardrobe staple” on the hanger… until you realize how many different directions you can take them.

🐆 Okay… apparently we need to talk about THIS SET. 😍

I had so many people ask me about this leopard set, and I completely understand why. It has that statement-making look when you wear it together, but the best part might actually be how many outfits you can get out of the pieces separately.

Wear the vest + pants together for the full look — bold, polished and SO good.

Pair the vest with denim, black trousers, a skirt or even layered over a simple tee.

Style the pants with a black tank, graphic tee, sweater, blazer… you could take these in so many directions.

Basically, it’s not just one outfit. It’s a whole lot of closet possibilities. 🤎🐆

And we are down to the very last ones:

✨ 1 Large left in the bottoms

They do NOT have to go home together… although I certainly wouldn’t blame them. 😉

Bring in the olive. Add the camel. Tie on a pretty scarf. Mix in a little gold… and suddenly your summer basics feel a whole lot more like September. 🤎

This is my favorite kind of transitional dressing — pieces you can actually wear NOW, but that still give you those fall feels.

A new month, a new season on the horizon, and so many pretty things happening at Buttonwood.

We may still be dressing for Arkansas heat 😅, but we’re officially entering that sweet spot where we can start mixing in rich colors, easy layers, pretty textures, and pieces that feel just a little more like fall.

Buttonwood is headed to Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market September 11–12 at the Rogers Convention Center, and I’m already getting excited about what I’m bringing with me. 🤎

Think fall favorites, easy transitional pieces, new arrivals, accessories, and plenty of those “okay, I NEED that” Buttonwood finds. 😉
