Contentment.
I don’t know about you, but I could use a little more of that sometimes.
As embarrassing as it is to admit, I can still find myself focusing on what I don’t have instead of being grateful for what I do. And honestly, I don’t even know why it comes so easily, because there really is so much to be thankful for.
But isn’t that just like us sometimes?
We can have blessings all around us and still let our eyes drift toward the one thing we wish was different.
This verse is such a good reminder that true contentment doesn’t come from having the right amount of money, the right possessions, perfect health, or everything going exactly the way we hoped.
Real contentment comes from knowing Christ, trusting Him, and remembering where our hope is found.
And that is my prayer for you today, my friends — that whatever season you’re in, you would feel the peace that only He can give. ❤️
