Welp. Today marks the day that I have to completely distance myself from Thor.

I came outside after his arrival this morning, and he tried to antler me. The rut is and he is getting very aggressive due to his hormones. I'm fine except for some bruising but he really lowered his head and pushed his antlers into my leg!

Looking back in hindsight, I should have realized that he arrived with a number of his antler bros and they were continuing to joust, so Thor was already revved up.

So my observations will have to be from afar from this point forward until the rut is over.

This morning, I had another conversation with Emerald DuCoeur, animal communicator, because I HAD to know.

She was able to talk to Thor!

He said that he is doing well.

Apparently, he is in the next valley over which is quite a way away.

It is not easy nor safe for him to return back to our house at the moment, but he is having fun on his adventure. He can feel his blood racing.

He also can smell the difference with humans with adrenaline pumping (which are hunters) and he knows how to stand still to avoid them.

We then had a back-and-forth conversation via Emerald.

He feels all the love and prayers being sent his way, and interestingly, two other younger deer are drawn to the field of safety that those thoughts are providing and also surrounding him.

Thor also said I am very important to him, and that he will always be my baby and will be connected to me, especially at the heart.
