Questo mese, invece, Genuine Way parteciperà alla GITEX Technology Week, la più grande fiera dedicata a sviluppo tecnologico ed economia digitale!

🏆 Atelier Riforma ha ricevuto un investimento dai fondatori di The 20 fund, fondo dedicato all'imprenditoria femminile ad impatto, per il suo progetto "Re4Circular"! Lo stesso progetto è tra i quattro vincitori di "Welfare che Impresa!" 2022, concorso volto a premiare i progetti in grado di promuovere una nuova visione di sviluppo attraverso la ricombinazione di economia e società.

🎯 Escape4Change ha partecipato al Festival dell'Economia Civile in cui ha concorso per il premio "Prepararsi al futuro 2022!" e alla seconda edizione di Villa Futura, format ideato da Hearts & Science! Il team si è potuto sfidare sul campo di Escape4Change in un gioco basato sulla sostenibilità, allenando il pensiero laterale e il lavoro di squadra.

Our latest collection, Heartrise, was designed with the culture of care at its heart.

In an African Print fabric featuring long, slender leaves climbing sinuously upwards, it is both a celebration of Earth’s beauty and a message of hope for its future; a reminder to keep rising. We took this fabric and created a capsule collection of pieces to wear anywhere: a double breasted blazer and matching pants, designed for ease of movement – like the fighter’s punch to the heart – yet polished enough to give you confidence wherever you are going.

A collection, like everything we design, to wear again and again. A collection that cares.

Heartrise

Protecting our planet is not a job for one, two , or three people. It’s our collective responsibility and privilege.

Our new capsule collection Heartrise was designed with the culture of care at its heart. Inspired by Earthrise – the first photograph of our planet from space, it teaches us that seeing something as a whole is the stepping stone to begin to care for it.

Sixty years later we wonder what happens if we apply that level of vision and boldness to look inward and take on challenges that affect us directly – from social justice and inclusion, to environmental and health. A successful moon landing was possible because everyone’s energy was dedicated to a shared belief and outcome and therefore attracted the engagement and contribution demanded despite the risks involved.

When I first came across Amanda Gorman's poem ‘Earthrise’, I had no intention of designing a collection. I was simply looking around and trying to learn more about Amanda, and what makes her work so powerful and remarkable. But the four minutes of the video – a 2018 reading of ‘Earthrise’, dedicated to Al Gore – mesmerized me; I kept watching it over and over.

Her point of view at the end truly made me consider: If someone came to our planet for the first time, what would they see? What would they find?

My response to that question is the Heartrise collection. I’ve used fashion to imagine a world where everyone is aware of how lovely our planet is, so that we all work harder to conserve this magnificent blue dot. To celebrate, and preserve, the beauty of our planet, I wanted to create something beautiful.
