Sometimes, when making something for someone else, it leads you somewhere you never expected. 🌿💜
This shirt started dyed with Saxon Blue, followed by sappanwood to build that rich purple, with the tannin spots adding another layer of character. The result was one of those happy surprises that reminds me why I love letting the process have a say. 😄

As the seasons begin to shift 🍃 this undyed cashmere scarf feels right at home. With many varieties of eucalyptus and seeds laid into the design, the natural colors settled into earthy tones thats feel warm and familiar. Cozy even. 😊

I started unwrapping this bundle thinking I was unraveling a pair of pants that I made for a friend…but plot twist! They’re mine. 😄🤷‍♂️🌿
With some peony leaves and a mix of other botanicals, these turned into the super comfortable pants I envisioned taking on an upcoming trip. And honestly, if I’m going to be comfortable, I might as well stand out from the crowd while I’m doing it. 🤗

😮 This one came out in the most unapologetically vibrant dandelion yellow. 🟡👀🤩 The h**p leaves definitely didn’t leave as much detail as I expected, especially compared with the beautiful impressions from the peony leaves. I rarely use h**p and getting one of these few pieces to produce in such a bright, energetic yellow made this reveal worth remembering. What a color! Definitely not a mellow yellow! 😁💛

This skirt surprised me with the most beautiful shade of peach! 🤩🍑 What made this reveal amazing was seeing the variety of native flowers come through with so much clarity and character that it seems like they each left their own little signatures in the fabric . 👗✍️🌸🌼🌺

This cashmere scarf started with Weld and other yellow dyes and then a Saxon Blue blanket. It was layered with eucalyptus, maple, and ginkgo leaves. But the star of the reveal may be the beautiful large fern that pulls everything together beautifully. I have a feeling it will the fern will become even more prominent and detailed once this piece finishes drying. 🌬️🧣💫

This beautiful one had a purpose from the beginning. This botanically printed shirt made especially for a friend heading to a wedding in New York. 🌿❤️
As the layers came away, the intense vibrant red kept heating up.🌡️ The botanical details revealed themselves fold by fold showing so much detail that it made this piece special, and making it felt especially rewarding. 😊💫
