udu Here at udu (oo-doo), we make Livelyhoods that help create livelihoods. Check out our website to see Udu began with a simple idea: this hoodie is awesome.

In order to share that awesomeness, we had to go back to Kenya where the original hoodie was made by the village tailor on an island called Wasini. In the process, we teamed up with Feed The Children to further their mission of creating resources for those without life’s essentials. We now call our hoodies Livelyhoods, and with the help of Feed The Children, we seek out and employ the talents of p

eople living without life's essentials to make Livelyhoods. And in doing so, a way for you help us create livelihoods for them. Our Livelyhoods are handmade from traditional East African fabrics by men and women living without life's essentials. Much like the people we serve, no two are alike. We aren’t asking for donations or volunteers. What we are asking you for is your support. You work hard to do what you do and so do we. When you purchase a Livelyhood every dollar is reinvested into udu and the people who make it possible. Everyone who buys a Livelyhood makes a connection with us. The more connections we make, the more livelihoods we can create.
