Heart ‘n Hands Mission is an outreach ministry of St. Our mission is to collect and provide clothing and other necessities to the homeless and working poor of northeastern New Jersey and to raise awareness of their plight in this area and beyond. We are mobile, and with our traveling van, we reach many of our area’s homeless through soup kitchens and food pantries. Through these resources we are a
ble to provide many of the items they need to maintain good health and hygiene. The Heart ‘n Hands Mission volunteers serve over 800 people in need in Hudson and Passaic Counties every month throughout the year. We currently deliver to 4 Gathering Sites in Paterson, Passaic, and Hoboken and are always looking for new Gathering Sites who are in need of our help. While the clothing and other items are free to those who need them, Heart ‘n Hands Mission depends on donations to provide the items that are needed. You can help our neighbors in need by making a contribution or by donating your time, or new and gently used clothing and other items. Presorting donations by gender and size is greatly appreciated. Our most requested items are: Men’s khakis and jeans, everyday shoes and sneakers for all ages, adult white crew socks, diapers, and NEW travel size personal care items such as shampoo, deodorant, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, hand sanitizer and medicated powder.
