We are open for leather restoration!

When leather dries over long periods, it can begin to crack and "dry rot" causing significant damage that can hardly be restored.

Our restoration process hydrates the fibers within the leather, to prevent cracking before it starts.

This process will not bring 100% perfection, but it is an easy way to hide scuffs and add a few more years to a belt, pair of boots, handbag, etc...

In a world of micro-plastics and mass produced cheap clothing, landfills pile higher while the quality of our belongings plummet further.

Here at Bound, we believe in quality over quantity which is why I want to shine some light on authentic veg-tanned leather compared to faux/fake leather (also known sometimes as vegan leather or even synthetic 'eco' leather)

Vegetable tanned leather, is made using tannins from natural bark and plants. While vegan leather is made by coating fabric with polyurethane and other plastics that are a byproduct of the gas and oil industry (the creation of PVC)

Rest assured though, everything from our neckties to our leather goods is all made-to-order using natural materials in an attempt to reduce waste and provide custom clothing to anyone and everyone.

Special shoutout to Weaver Leather Supply, another company from Ohio which shares our belief and makes it possible by providing the vegetable tanned leather we use, along with the tools.
