This is probably going to seem super unprofessional, and I am so, so sorry for that. But let me be very clear on something… We are NOT the boutique that is going to sit back and let someone run over us over an honest mistake.

I am going to attach a few photos of something that happened within the last few days that I genuinely never saw. I have been VERY upfront and honest about how CRAZY things have been since the store blew up for whatever reason. 😅 I am NOT fussing by any means at all, so please don’t think that. We just were not used to that many orders, but I honestly feel like we have handled it very well for the most part.

A few weeks ago, I made a post stating that there was NO WAY we weren’t going to accidentally mix up a few items or possibly miss something during all of the chaos. We built a website and got everything together in THREE DAYS. This is a 10,000-square-foot building full of inventory, and we had never done the whole website and scannable barcode thing before. We are a TRUE small-town boutique. 😅😅😅 But we got it together and made it work, and y’all made it MORE than worth it on literally Day 1.

I cried. Literally cried. Ask ANY of my workers and they will tell you. Not because of the money, but because it felt like all of the hard work I have put into this business was finally paying off. Seeing those receipts constantly print from website orders on DAY 1 was something I will never forget. I have never in my life had God be so clearly in my face saying, “Okay, I am helping you with this. Now it’s up to you to manage it correctly and work hard.” You can ask any of my friends and family because I have told all of them that exact thing. I literally stood at the heat press and cried because of how THANKFUL I was for ALL of my customers, both old and new. The business we have had over the last few weeks is what small boutiques literally DREAM ABOUT, and it came completely out of nowhere. We have no idea how all of you found us, but we are so thankful that you did.

But what comes along with growth are learning experiences, honest mistakes, and unfortunately a few bad customers. We are human. We are going to make mistakes. We have made mistakes in the past, and we will probably make mistakes in the future. The difference is that we ALWAYS try to make things right. Had this customer messaged me back and allowed us to get this straightened out like adults, I would have gladly sent a few extra happies because we missed this order on PayPal. I don’t use PayPal for my business. We use Square. I never saw this purchase. She stated that she ordered before our page blew up. She ordered on May 10th, and our page started blowing up on May 11th.

We have navigated all of this the best way we know how. Again, we are a TRUE small-town boutique. We didn’t have a website. We didn’t have barcodes. But we do now. 😅 To be honest, we have been STRESSED OUT getting it all done, but it has also made life easier in the long run, and we have genuinely enjoyed it. It has been so much fun watching this place grow and seeing how many places we have shipped packages. We are close to shipping to all 50 states in under two weeks. That NEVER happened before. Before this, it was basically Mississippi and Alabama. 😂

We have genuinely enjoyed all of you. EXCEPTTTTT for situations like this. I will not EVER put up with someone treating us this way. I already don’t deal well with things like this, but I especially don’t deal well with it after the week I have had and after suddenly losing someone that I was EXTREMELY close to. It does not take much to be kind, y’all. Especially when someone is being honest and admitting their faults. We have mixed things up before, but since the store has blown up, this is the only situation that I personally know about, and we ALWAYS try to make it right.

Life has been crazy. This will not be the only mistake we ever make. I PROMISE you that. But just like I posted a few weeks ago, please private message us or call us, and I PROMISE we will get it straightened out. We have enjoyed this so much and do NOT want to mess any of this up. Little lies and comments like this can do great harm to a small business, and people like this simply do not care. If you are this kind of person, then please block us now. I mean that with everything in me. If you can’t be kind, compassionate, caring, and understanding, then I genuinely do not want you as a customer or a friend.

I am writing this at 11 o’clock on a Friday night while still at work trying to get yalls stuff out after one of the hardest weeks of my life, and I hate that I am even having to write it. But we will NOT be lied on, and we will NOT be made to look like we take people’s money and do not send their items. I am still here this late trying to catch up because we got behind due to everything that happened. If we had prints that looked too small on shirts, then I ordered bigger prints because I wanted them to look right. I am not sending anyone something that I personally am not happy with. I have always been honest about that. If you want a refund because of something that is out of our control or something that we messed up, then we don’t argue about it. We refund it. I always admit my wrongs, even when I don’t want to.

Again, I hate having to post all of this, but I do not want a future customer seeing that review and thinking that we keep people’s money and don’t send their items. I have NEVER and will NEVER do that.

Now I am going to ask a huge favor. I took a lot of pride in our little 29 reviews that gave us a 100% satisfaction rating. If you have ever shopped with us or dealt with us at all, would you PLEASE go leave a review and let everyone know how we did and what we can do better? Everyone can always improve, and I genuinely mean that. This bothers me because someone had the nerve to get on here and post this after we have worked as hard as we have over the last three weeks to build a website in three days and start implementing barcodes throughout a 10,000-square-foot building.

I know more business means more people like this, but please just block us if this is how you operate. 😅 We will NOT allow people to ruin this experience for us. We have had fun. We have enjoyed every single one of you. We have loved seeing where all of our packages are going. Tbh We had really already shipped to almost all 50 states in ONE WEEK. I have to check now that we are at the 2 week mark where we are at now. Y’all have no idea how big that is to us. It may sound silly to some people, but it is exciting for us. I have never had God so clearly in my face trying to help me.

The weekend of Mother’s Day, I was sick in bed all week and didn’t even get to have my kids. While I was laying there, I texted the girls that work for me and said, “I’m ready to really get this store going. Let’s do barcodes and get everything set up right.” That Sunday, May 10th, I ordered everything we needed. Then that Tuesday, I randomly decided to get a new store phone because we hadn’t had one in two years. The old one broke, scammers constantly called it, and honestly I just didn’t feel like fooling with it. 😂 So I got a new one. The VERY NEXT DAY the store blew up. That phone started ringing off the hook.

I have told EVERYONE this story because I KNOW this was God. I know it was. I also feel like God was preparing me for everything that is happening now. He knew I would need something to keep me busy and keep my mind occupied after losing someone so close to me, and boy have y’all kept us busy.

I am so thankful and so blessed. That may just sound like words to some people, but it means everything to me. I am thankful for every single one of you no matter how much money you have spent. Even a like, comment, or share helps us. Y’all have NO IDEA how much that helps a small business. It is hard being a small business right now, and people like this make it even harder.

Please don’t be this person. Please be mindful that other people have things going on too. Please understand that people like me are single mamas. One small comment like this can hurt a business tremendously. Small comments can literally make or break a boutique. You do not understand how much power one negative comment can have simply because of a mix-up that we were trying to make right.

🔴Please read if you have placed an order to be shipped

Shipping will start back tomorrow(Thursday). We had a loved one pass very unexpectedly and we haven’t been able to ship same day like we normally do. A lot of orders went out but it’s mostly the river crops and camo shirts that haven’t gotten to go out yet. Or if the order came in from Friday-Now… I will be back to work tomorrow after the funeral though, and will get everyone taken care of.
