💚 HELP ME GET YA’YA’S MERCANTILE INTO A STOREFRONT! 💚
Hey guys! I’m going to put myself out there and ask for something I never thought I’d ask for.
I have an opportunity to take YaYa’s Mercantile from what started as a little resale idea into an actual storefront! 🏪
Honestly, I started this business almost on a fluke. I never imagined how much response I would get from friends, family, and even complete strangers. The more I do it, the more I realize that this is something I really want to make work.
And it’s about more than just having a business.
Having YaYa’s gives me something to work toward. It keeps me busy, physically active, and gives me a reason to get up and keep moving. It helps me manage my anxiety and depression and, most importantly, gives me a sense of purpose. ❤️
The amazing thing about my business model is that I have very little overhead. My inventory is FREE! I’m the only employee. My main expenses are my time, gas, storage, and eventually the rent on the storefront.
The problem is that I simply don't have the upfront money to make the move right now.
I have SO MUCH inventory that I could easily go 6 months to a year without needing to acquire more merchandise. I already have pickups scheduled for tomorrow, and another one scheduled for October! 😳
Right now, I'm paying for storage and driving back and forth, and I just can't realistically list everything I have individually on Marketplace. I need a place where I can put everything together, open the doors, and actually make this business work.

I need to raise at least $1,000 to get myself out of one of my storage units and into the storefront so I can open to the public with regular business days and hours.
I'm not going to lie—I don't have great credit, and I don't have someone I can simply call and ask to loan me the money. I've thought about what else I could do, and honestly, I decided the best thing I can do is just ask.
I'm not too proud to ask for help. ❤️
