Just a reminder...AND a DP Vlog/Blog Post:

I was at an event recently where there was a myriad of fashion statements and styles! I almost wanted to to take out pen and paper to sketch or jot some notes down! 🤣

Needless to say, I have some new ideas to rock!

This look was from my Pre-Birthday Celebration weekend. It's a little different in that I had to incorporate my arms being covered due to allergies. I attended an outdoor event. I think I did a good job of convincing that I meant to do this. 🤣 The dress was comfortable and classy. The shades were leftovers from DP's last season's items. I paired a MK clutch with it in shades of blue and was on go! No spanks needed ladies. The cut of the dress accentuated well the areas I wanted it to! 😘 Left the pink chandelier earrings at home so I had to improvise with these large silver teardrops.

All in all...mission accomplished!

Hello good people!

The season has changed recently so you should be adjusting your looks!

Every season you should create or adjust your style! Add things. Get rid of things! Revamp outfits and looks! Get rid of clothes that no longer fit, etc.!

Every spring and summer I choose a couple of definites to do!
For example, one summer, I wore workout sleeveless shirts and shorts. I dressed them up with accessories and slides.
Another spring, I wore button up shirts with everything! I wore them with jeans, slacks, joggers, shorts, etc.!

What's gonna be your "Definitely Doing Item" this Spring/Summer?

DP Blog/Vlog:

There was a time many years ago that I did not the capacity to embrace fashion and style. I wore clothing out of necessity and not to express myself. I was ultra conservative because it felt safe and comfortable.

But over the years, as a result of growth, maturity and with the help of God, I began to confidently express myself via fashion. Most of the time I style myself but there are times where I get input from my children (biological and extra) and sisters of my heart. I follow fashion social media pages and stylists to broaden my palette for fashion, styling and expression.

With all of this I've grown. I set my own standard. I blaze my own way.

Takeaways:
-Find what compliments you.
-Create looks with confidence.
-Do something different with your look sometimes.
-And definitely, stunt on 'em every so often.

The "looks" shared below are all styled by me. The first few looks are from my recent business/branding photo session. The remaining looks are from various days and outings.
