My favorite so far! The butterfly inlay on the tower is padauk, wenge, and ash. On the rolling tray, the butterfly was ash, but I didn't really like how it looked. So, I drew in some details on the ash. =) The stems and petals on the flowers are resin inlays. This butterfly was styled to look like a Monarch(ish). If I do another, I think I'll try a Zebra Swallowtail.

Trying some other stuff with inlays. This one looks like an illustration.
Since there isn't really a wood that has a real green cast, the stems and leaves are resin. So, it is sort of a mixed media. The "daisy" petals are yellowheart wood that has had the details lasered into them. The disk is walnut.

I figured it was time to push my skill level a bit. I’ve done some simpler wood inlays before, and it's time to step it up.
These two boxes are made primarily from maple. If I’d been a little cleverer, I would’ve used ambrosia maple for the beetle box instead of the triquetra one. For those who don’t know, the distinctive coloring in ambrosia maple is caused by the ambrosia beetle.
So… missed opportunity for a small layer of humor that only wood geeks and maybe a few entomologists would catch.

C'est la vie =)

Born of Walnut. Infused with unnatural light.

This Traveler Box swirls with vivid greens and chartreuse resin, a moment of time trapped in a chaotic dance. The matching Walnut tray carries the same current, tying the whole piece together.

Then darkness falls.

Under UV, the resin awakens, glowing with an intensity that refuses to be ignored.

These are several pieces from my Traveller series, dice tower, storage, and rolling tray combos all in one.

I call all of my resin designs Voyagers, because each one is a trip.

Trust me when I tell you, videos don't do them justice.

Do you see the stars peeking out?

This Traveler tower is crafted from a piece of driftwood, species unknown, dark and rich with character, shaped by time and tide. The resin is a deep, stunning blue with wispy white clouds drifting through it, and the Icicle White mica catches the light like tiny stars scattered across a night sky.

Paired with its walnut rolling tray, complete with a swirling blue accent that echoes the movement above, this piece feels like holding a little universe in your hands. Truly one of a kind.

I finished this one last week and it has already found a new home. It will be making its way out today. I love working with wood and resin. Each piece is unique, and when you use something like this gorgeous White Oak burl paired with that deep crimson resin, you don’t just get contrast, you get character. The wild, organic grain locked beneath that rich red depth makes this piece completely one-of-a-kind. There will never be another exactly like it.

Now for something quirkier than usual...
Other than the wood and resin, can you guess what else gives this tower its unique look? One of the batch I finished last week.
