Yes, I work on Sundays! š
Today, while getting our fall pieces photographed and ready for the Lemonade Boutique website, I listened to Bobbi Brown on Aspire with Emma Grede.
I love hearing how successful women built their businesses, faced setbacks, reinvented themselves, and kept going.
Bobbi said she even listens to podcasts while getting her teeth cleaned! š Meanwhile, I do the exact oppositeāI take a nap and literally fall asleep in the chair. Itās one of the few times my brain completely rests!
Iāll be honest: I was never very familiar with Bobbiās products. Iām not really a conventional beauty-product personāI use beef tallow on my face, castor oil on my body, and coconut oil on my teeth! š
But her story completely inspired me.
After leaving the famous beauty company that carried her name, Bobbi reinvented herself and launched Jones Road at 63āa clean, uncomplicated makeup line celebrating natural beauty.
One piece of advice she shared really stayed with me:
