One of the greatest gifts entrepreneurship has given me isn’t just financial freedom, it’s the opportunity to teach my boys firsthand what hard work, responsibility, and ownership look like.

By involving them in the business, they get to see the behind-the-scenes effort, problem-solving, and commitment it takes to build something from the ground up. They’re learning that success doesn’t happen overnight, and that every role matters.

These work opportunities aren’t just about earning a little money, although currently that’s what motivates them the most lol, they’re about building confidence, developing a strong work ethic, and giving them a glimpse into what’s possible when you create something of your own. Proud to be raising future leaders, entrepreneurs, and hardworking humans.

Who has played and who can teach me!?

Mahjong tables were everywhere at High Point Market and not in a subtle way.

What used to feel niche or tucked into a game room is officially having a moment. Think sculptural bases, lacquered finishes, hidden storage, and designs so beautiful they double as statement pieces. Less game table, more center of the room.

It’s part of a bigger shift I’m loving: spaces designed for gathering again. Not just for entertaining, but for rituals weekly games, long conversations, phones down, people in.

And honestly, I get it. When something looks this good, of course you’re going to build a room around it.
