This was a tester bag. It’s a big open bag with one zippered inside pocket. The body is roughly 14”x9”. My dress form is set at about a size 10 in the picture. $30 or best offer. I’ll deliver locally or you can pay shipping (maybe $10?).

Howdy strangers! I'm trying to get my sewing hands back after a long, stressful year, and in the process, I'm clearing some things out. I made this little bag over a year ago, but the pattern was terrible and resulted in some gaffs. It's doing no good sitting in my house, so if you or someone you know loves mermaids, this is for you! I'm selling it as-is for $20, which is roughly what I spent on materials for it.

It's very small - only 9"x7" - but the strap is adjustable from approx 27" up to 50", so it can be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody on a variety of body sizes.

It also features one exterior zippered pocket and one large interior slip pocket.

I'm in a standstill at the moment, waiting for some hardware I ordered. In the meantime, I threw together a test for the messenger bag I posted previously. I knew it was small, but didn't realize HOW small. It just looks like a purse on an adult, but I think the basic design is good. I will try to do a bigger one after I'm caught up on requests. I gave this one to Fletcher to be his "Indiana Jones" bag. (Cat shown for scale 😛)

I have several custom bags waiting to be made, but I am also working on modifying a pattern I found for a traditional messenger bag. The Dorian "messenger bag" from Swoon is more like a basic laptop bag and doesn't have much personality. I know not everyone wants to carry a purse, so I'd like to be able to offer a more rugged-looking option. I'm going to try to squeeze in a test run of this Moop knockoff and decide how to make it bigger and better (with all the pockets!).

- I love making all kinds of bags! Need it basic black and functional? No problem. Want something completely random? Let me tell you about my cow purse idea! Itching to show of your fandom or coordinate with your cosplay for the next con? I got you covered.

- Don't quite see what you like? I can make a lot of changes! I can add or remove pockets, remove accent pieces, add or remove flaps, add or change closure styles, make straps longer, shorter, or adjustable...I can even make bags bigger or smaller to a limited degree.

- I will charge you for all materials at the cost I buy them. I will make best effort to buy on sale, with coupons, or discounts. To give you a rough ballpark, an Ethel, with no hardware, could cost as little as $20. A larger bag, made with premium fabric and a lot of hardware and zippers, will end up costing in the $50-$70 range.

- I can NOT sew vinyl or leather at this time. I am hoping to upgrade my machine to accommodate this VERY SOON.

- I am not currently charging for labor. In exchange, I ask you to forgive any imperfections as I practice new patterns, and pass along this page info to anyone who admires your bag. Clever Crow Handbags!

- If you are out of town, I will ship your bag, but the more structured ones have to be sent with some padding in a decent-sized box. Cost for shipping and materials can be $10-$15.

This was the first bag I made. It has a lot of flaws! Unfortunately, the fabric is discontinued, so I can't redo it. I am considering taking it apart and righting the wrongs. The Rosie pattern has an adjustable cross body strap, an exterior back zipper pocket, and an interior front zipper pocket.

This is the India I made for Hazel from fabrics she chose. This one has zipper and slip pockets on the front and the same inside. It's fully reversible and is intended to be worn crossbody. The featured fabrics are Alexander Henry.

I made this Sheena for myself. The main panels are heavy upholstery fabric, the contrast and strap are black canvas. The lining is a black on black paisley print. The bag has a zipper pocket on the back, and a zipper pocket and two slip pockets inside. The hardware is antique brass.
