📍 Samarkand, Uzbekistan*

The UNIDO project team continues its mission in Samarkand, supporting local garment manufacturers in strengthening product development and production capabilities.

On the second day of the mission, experts worked closely with the factory team on garment fittings, measurement verification, pattern adjustments, and material optimization. These hands-on technical sessions are helping refine the collections and ensure that products meet quality, fit, and market requirements.

Such practical collaboration plays an important role in enhancing the competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s textile and garment sector by transferring knowledge, improving production processes, and supporting enterprises in developing market-ready collections.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the mission progresses.

🇺🇿🤝🇷🇺 Strong Results for Uzbek Companies at Bee Together 2026

The participation of Uzbek textile and garment manufacturers at Bee Together 2026 in Moscow has concluded successfully, creating new opportunities for export growth and international partnerships.

During the exhibition, beneficiary companies of the UNIDO project “Sustainable Upgrading of the Textile and Garment Industry of Uzbekistan” held more than 50 B2B meetings with Russian buyers, brands, retailers, and marketplace sellers. Many of these contacts show strong potential for future orders and long-term cooperation.

Participating companies highlighted the high quality of buyer engagement and noted that this year’s exhibition generated more targeted and commercially promising business opportunities than previous editions.

The results once again demonstrate the growing competitiveness of Uzbek textile and apparel products and the importance of direct business-to-business engagement in expanding access to international markets.
