CFVI awarded a grant to Anathausvi, with funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, to support the production of a short film titled ‘Through Their Eyes: A Youth-Centered Look at Virgin Islands History.’ The film features 25 youths visiting various historical sites, emphasizing the importance of preserving and celebrating the VI's unique heritage. The students embarked on a transformative educational journey, gaining valuable insights and developing practical skills in filmmaking, storytelling, and cultural preservation. The project will enrich community members' appreciation of the Virgin Islands' cultural heritage, instilling a sense of pride and connection to the community while fostering a deeper appreciation for its unique aspects.
