*Topic: Believing in God's Goodness*
Bible Reading: Psalm 42:11
"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God."

Message
In this Psalm, King David is going through a difficult time. He's feeling downcast, disturbed, and uncertain about his future. But in the midst of his struggles, he reminds himself to put his hope in God.

*God's Goodness is Unshakeable*
David's declaration in Psalm 42:11 is a powerful reminder that God's goodness is unshakeable. No matter what challenges we face, no matter how dark our circumstances may seem, God's goodness remains constant.

*We Must Choose to Believe*
But believing in God's goodness requires a deliberate choice. It requires us to trust in His character, His love, and His sovereignty, even when we can't see the way forward.

*Putting Our Hope in God*
So, how can we put our hope in God like David did? Here are a few practical steps
1. *Remind yourself of God's promises*
2. *Choose to trust*
3. *Praise Him*
4. *Seek support*
Believing in God's goodness is a choice that requires faith, trust, and obedience. As we navigate life's challenges, let's remember to put our hope in God, just like David did. May we choose to trust in His goodness, praise Him in the midst of difficulties, and seek support from others.

*Prayer*
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to believe in Your goodness, even when I'm faced with challenges. Give me the faith to trust in Your character, Your love, and Your sovereignty. Help me to put my hope in You and to praise You, no matter what circumstances I may face. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

*Topic: Seeing from God's Perspective*
Bible Reading: Romans 8:28
_*"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him."*_

*Message:*
Greater hope is not just about our circumstances; it's about our perspective.
Romans says and we know that in all things "God" works for the good of those who love him.
It is not you working things for yourself in is God.
Have you ever cared to ask yourself, this is what I have decided but what is God saying?
If you don't ask yourself this question then you are not doing best for yourself.
God loves people seeking his consent because whenever he gives you his consent and you starts seeing things from his perspective, you will definitely succeed and you will return the glory to him.
If God allows you to succeed on your own or if he decides to intervene without you acknowledging that it was God he won't be happy with you
because he never shares his glory with any man.
Some people at the extreme end,few minutes to their answers to prayer they will ignore God and starts doing what pleases them.
Maybe trying to give answers to themselves
Then God will keep watching..
If you've been viewing things from God's perspective you wouldn't have failed woefully, you wouldn't have been facing some challenges you are facing now.
Let's choose to see things from God's perspective, knowing that He is working everything out for our good.

In seeing from God's perspective they are some things you need to do away with

1. *What will people say?*
The answer is, They will say whatever their mouths can say
Whether in right, wrong, ETC. They will definitely say something
and it will never be to encourage you.

2. *They will laugh at me:* Believe me, if you fail they will laugh you the more
it's better they laugh at you for following God's direction for your life than to hail you and you miss his way for you.

3. *Doubt(what if it's not the right thing)*
Peter doubted God and he almost sanked into the sea
Once you are sure of God's word ,go straight to it he will not fail you.

Bible Reading: Psalm 34:17-18.
" *The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit*"

*_Message_*
Have you ever felt like your world is crashing down around you? Like the weight of your struggles is too much to bear? You're not alone.
To live with something means to dwell in the same place or stay in or under thesame roof with someone.

Colossians 1:27 says to them God has chosen to make known among the gentiles the glorious wishes of this mystery which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory

The only time you will know you are living with hope is when you have christ in you
once you have christ then you are hope yourself
because, whatever you do is Christ doing through you
whatever you say, is Christ saying through you.

here's the good news:
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
These remind us that God is not distant or detached from our struggles. He is actively involved in our lives, hearing our cries and delivering us from trouble.

How to live with hope
1. Cry out to God: In all situation,
Don't complain, contend
Remember God will not do until you ask of him

2. Trust in God's deliverance: Remember that God is able to deliver you from trouble. Trust in His power and sovereignty.
"Not trusting God is confronting God"
the moment you lose trust in God he departs.
once you lose trust then you are confronting him

3. Draw near to God: Don't only go to God In times of struggle, draw near to God through prayer, worship, and meditation on His Word always.
let your voice be registered in heaven
* this is Dan talking is different from Go and check who is talking
when your voice is registered in heaven answers comes quickly
if you only come when you have problem they will have to discover who is praying at that particular time
and the time spent trying to figure out who you are before God delays your answer

Conclusion
As we navigate the ups and downs of life, let's hold onto Our Hope(Jesus)

*Topic: Choosing Greater Hope*
Bible Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6
" *Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding* ."

Message:
Greater hope is not just a feeling; it's a choice. Let's choose to trust God, even when we can't see the outcome.
When you choose greater hope you are indirectly chosing to do whatever God says to you
he gives you directions that may be against your wish
but when you have a greater hope in God
you do whatever he directs you to nomatter the cost
In anticipating greater hope you must trust God.
You may understand that some sickness and situations are impossible, that is your own understanding
But the moment you begin to understand that yes! There is nothing impossible with God
That is you chosing a greater hope for yourself.

Let's look at LUKE 5:5-6
According to scientists, different species of fish have different feeding times. For example, bass are more active in the early morning hours, while crappie are more active in the evening
And peter have tried all through the night
and it was time to go home. The knowledge that yes if we were unable to catch a single fish throughout the night, is it now that we will catch a fish!?
But verse 5 says *_that Simon Peter replied, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."_*

That is a real example of chosing greater hope
The Ability to chose a greater hope is the ability to chose the word of God
That is: The world says that I can't achieve this particular thing in this short period of time
but God says "everything is possible with him"
the world says people tried and failed and I am not an exemption
but God says "Whatsoever you ask in my name, believing I will do it"
this means you have chosen greater hope for yourself
Lastly: With God, All things are possible!!!

*Prayer for the Day:*
Dear Heavenly Father, we pray that You'll help us choose to trust You, even when the road ahead is uncertain. Give us greater hope and faith. In Jesus' name, Amen

*Topic: Holding onto Hope*
Bible Reading: Psalm 18:2
"The Lord is my rock, my refuge and my savior."

Message:
Hope is the anchor that holds us steady in turbulent times. As we navigate life's challenges, let's hold onto hope, knowing that God is our Rock.
It's one thing to be hopeful
And it is another thing to hold onto hope
We are hopeful because Jesus died for our sins
But holding onto hope is in the ability of you being sure that Jesus is still alive and that he lives forever

Prayer for the Day:
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our Rock and Refuge. We pray that You'll help us hold onto hope, even in the midst of challenges. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Topic: That I May Know You
Bible Reading: Philippians 3:7-14

"But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." (Philippians 3:7-11, NIV)

Message:
In today's passage, the Apostle Paul shares his heart's desire: to know Jesus Christ intimately. He considers everything else in his life as "loss" compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ.

Paul's desire to know Christ is not just about intellectual knowledge, but about experiential knowledge. He wants to experience the power of Christ's resurrection, participate in His sufferings, and become like Him in His death.

As believers, we should also desire to know Christ intimately. We should seek to experience His presence, His power, and His love in our lives.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,

I desire to know You more intimately. Help me to experience Your presence, Your power, and Your love in my life.

May I, like Paul, consider everything else in my life as "loss" compared to the surpassing worth of knowing You.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Reflection:
Take a moment to reflect on your relationship with Christ. Do you desire to know Him more intimately? What are some things you can do today to seek a deeper relationship with Christ?

MORNING DEW WITH LEAD PSALMIST INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY
Wednesday 29 January,2025

Topic: The Cry of Jabez
Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10
"Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, 'I gave birth to him in pain.' Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, 'Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.' And God granted his request."

Message:
Jabez's story is a powerful reminder that our circumstances don't define our destiny. Despite being born in pain and having a name that meant "pain," Jabez refused to let his past dictate his future.

Jabez's cry to God is a model for us. He asked for:

1. *Blessing*: Jabez wanted God's blessing, which would bring him joy, prosperity, and favor.
2. *Expansion*: He asked for his territory to be expanded, indicating a desire for growth, increase, and influence.
3. *God's presence*: Jabez requested God's hand to be with him, acknowledging his need for divine guidance and protection.
4. *Protection from harm*: He asked to be kept from harm, demonstrating his trust in God's goodness and sovereignty.

Reflection:
Take a moment to reflect on your life. What areas do you need God's blessing, expansion, presence, and protection? Cry out to God like Jabez, and trust in His goodness and sovereignty.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,

Like Jabez, I come before you with a humble heart, asking for your blessing, expansion, presence, and protection.

Bless me, Lord, and expand my territory. Let your hand be with me, guiding and protecting me.

Keep me from harm, and grant me freedom from pain. May my life be a reflection of your goodness and love.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen
