FASHION POLICY ROUNDTABLE.

A few weeks ago I worked a long side an incredible team to curate a fashion policy aroundtable discussion.
Thanks to team, Uganda , for making sure that these conversations reached the right people .

About the event:

“This was a discussion that brought together Uganda’s fashion industry giants who enlightened us about sustainable fashion in Uganda, and suggested policies the government can put in place to boost the industry sustainably

Panelists included: Katende Godfrey Country Coordinator , Muturi Kimani Director, Joram Muzira founder, Sanyu Serwadda from .official.__ , Nadia Gisella from , and Troy Elimu founder

Uganda has seen a rise in awareness and efforts towards sustainable fashion. Local designers and entrepreneurs have begun incorporating eco-friendly practices into their businesses, promoting traditional craftsmanship, and embracing sustainable production methods which is a very big progress in the fashion industry of Our country and the globe at large.
