HALANG-HALANG

Ingredients:

1/2 kg chicken backbone (chopped)
2 tbsp oil
5 cloves bawang (minced)
1 sibuyas bombay (sliced)
5 siling haba / sili espada (sliced)
2 siling labuyo or kulikot na sili (minced)
50g or 1 luya / luy-a (sliced)
3 tbsp toyo / soy sauce
3 tbsp s**a
1 tsp chicken powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup tubig

Procedure:

* igisa ang bawang/ahos at sibuyas / bombay sa mantika

* Ilagay ang luya/ luy-a at siling haba/ sili espada (igisa)

* Ilagay ang 1/2kg manok / backbone

* Lagyan ng toyo / soy sauce

* Ihalo, tapos takpan ng 3mins.

* Ilagay ang s**a tapos takpan ulit for 2 mins. (Don't mix)

* Ilagay ang 1 cup tubig tapos takpan antayin kumulo

* Ilagay ang chicken powder at black pepper then mix

* Ilagay ang sugar at siling labuyo then mix

* Let it simmer hanggang sa lumapot yung sauce.

* Turn off the heat then serve. ☺️
