My lifelong passion for the past, keen eye for detail, and unique personal style led me to a successful Hollywood costuming career, where I brought my love and knowledge of period fashion to films like Driving Miss Daisy, Of Mice and Men, and Drugstore Cowboy...

Eventually, I left the glamour (ha!) of Hollywood behind to pursue another dream - working with dogs. Propelled by the plight of homeles

s animals at my local shelter, I became a certified professional dog trainer and behavior consultant. Devil Dog Ranch offers training and behavioral services to the public and works with rescue organizations to improve their dogs' chances of finding and keeping forever homes. A little over a decade ago, I moved to rustic Tujunga, CA. in order to set-up my own small-scale dog rescue and hospice. Though retired from *the biz*, vintage will always be a way of life, so I've never stopped collecting! I'm still obsessively devoted to vintage style and am called upon regularly to supply Hollywood productions with vintage apparel and accessories from my extensive costume collection. Mad Men has featured Ranch Queen Vintage items in key scenes, including the now infamous bikini worn by Megan Draper in the opening scene of Mad Men Season 6. Every cent of every sale at Ranch Queen Vintage off-sets the costs of caring for the dogs here at Devil Dog Ranch ~ so THANK YOU for your support!

I also make quirky, one-of-a-kind salvage art in my home studio using soulful found objects. My property is known to old-timers of the area as Hummingbird Heaven - named for the home business of the original owners. The bird feeders they produced made from recycled odds & ends were sold internationally through ads placed in the back of Sunset magazine for over 30 years! A bit of Kismet clearly brought me here so I could continue their legacy with my own ecologically responsible home businesses.
