As May comes to a close we wanted to recap on our first video in our Proud to Wear My Yellows series with the RNLI - shining a light on the people behind the kit. The volunteers who make it possible for others to enjoy the water, knowing someone is always ready to help.

From the heart of London to the front line of the River Thames, Asher is part of a new generation answering the call.

Wearing his Yellows means “pride in your crew, trust in your training and confidence in the kit that helps keep you safe in the most demanding conditions."

Meet Asher 👋

Today, we’re launching the first film in our Proud to Wear My Yellows series with the - shining a light on the people behind the kit. The volunteers who make it possible for others to enjoy the water, knowing someone is always ready to help.

From the heart of London to the front line of the River Thames, he’s part of a new generation answering the call.

For Asher, it started with a passion for the water and a desire to give back to the London community that shaped him. Now, he lives, works and volunteers on the same river he grew up by, serving on the crew at Tower Lifeboat Station - RNLI's busiest station in the UK.

Wearing his Yellows means “pride in your crew, trust in your training and confidence in the kit that helps keep you safe in the most demanding conditions."
