As the parent of a toddler, I find that I'm reluctant to take my son to the playground or to the children's museum for fear of him interacting with unvaccinated kids. -That's horrible and I want to do something about it. I have created the VaxBand as an easy way for parents to signal to each other that their kids are safe (or at least safer) to play with. This isn't a site to debate the need for v

accination or its efficacy, that has been proven the world over. This is an effort to help make our communities safe once again for my kids and yours by rallying around a cause and also donating to charities that share this mission. Research supports that the best way to encourage parents in your community to vaccinate their kids is not to criticize them, or even to show them the evidence, but to set a visible positive example.
