🪡🧵Sew Together🧵🪡

Today was my first day back in work after a whirlwind 10 weeks of maternity leave. With Mostyn on hand to help, we started with our first Sew Together session where we met 2 lovely mums and their babies and made muslins and burp cloths. It was a nice, relaxed session with lots of breaks for feeds and snuggles. We're now looking forward to next week where we'll make reusable wipes and wet bags.

Following on from this, we had 2 more lovely ladies come to visit for 1:1 sessions. After a busy day, it's definitely nap time for us both!

THURSDAY 5.45-7.15 1 space (suitable for secondary age child)

I have 5 spaces up for grabs for next term! This time we'll be learning about quilting and making our own blanket as well as a Halloween themed creation. Suitable for ages 6+ beginners welcome.

This term there will be 7 sessions, in line with the upcoming school term. All groups will start the week beginning the 7th September.

The total cost including tuition, all materials and a drink and snack is £122.50pp

Calling all Mums and Dads on maternity leave! Are you looking for a friendly group to join that's baby friendly and you learn a new skill at the same time?

👶Sew Together is a new 4 week course starting next month where you get to make useful items and clothing for your baby. Imagine how proud you'll be saying "I made it!" when someone asks you where you for your baby's funky new outfit.

👩I started sewing whilst on maternity leave 10 years ago and I can't wait to share this hobby and super useful skill with you this year with my very own 2 month old coming along for the ride!

👩‍🍼Bring along a sling, carrier or baby chair for your baby and I'll provide the rest; fabric, machines, drinks, biscuits, tuition and a listening ear. If your baby needs to feed, be changed or just needs some time to settle that's no problem at all. There'll be a little time buffer after each session so you can make sure you complete the task before heading home.

❤️If this sounds right up your street, drop me a message to reserve your space and spread the word! Sewing is a great activity to do with friends, which I'm sure you'll make a few more of through this unique group. Limited spaces available 🌟

📢🌟👩‍🍼Things are going to be a bit quieter for Pig and Pip (the business, definitely not the boys!) for a while. Welcome to the world my newest creation, and future P&P model, Mostyn 👶

Watch this space for updates regarding orders and lessons but for now I'm stepping away from the machines to adjust to being a family of 5.

😎☀️Busy day yesterday catching up with orders while the clubs are on pause for the holidays. So many lovely, summery fabrics being transformed into holiday outfits. ☀️😎

😎☀️Here comes the sun!☀️😎

After 4 days and 8 lessons of manifesting good weather by making sun visors, our hard work has paid off with a heatwave! You're welcome 😊

We finished a very busy term with this tricky make which incorporated neat top stitching, scrunching fabric and the burrito method to create something which will come in very handy over the weeks to come.

I'll be taking a break from workshops over half term to focus on sewing up a storm for Hopefully the sun will keep shining as I have lots of bucket hats on the to do list after they sold out on both days last year.
