After years of experience in brand marketing, customer relations, and e-commerce for companies including Williams-Sonoma Inc, LVMH, and Nordstrom, Masuma Mansuri took her love for fashion, and combined that with her passion for girl power, launching her entrepreneurial journey. In 2014, Masuma launched Pink BANOO, an opportunity to create and market contemporary South Asian women's clothing with a mission to give back to girls' education in need. Masuma strives to find the balance between mom life and entrepreneur life with Pink Banoo and now with her new found passion for styling from the inside out through her newest venture .wellstyled While the struggle is real, Masuma is most proud of not only the courage to believe in her dreams, but also the ability to embrace change and to pave a path towards what her heart desires.

When I started this journey 4.5 years ago, I had no idea how much I was going to gain from it. I was able to jump into the game, with aspirations of making a difference and following my love for all things fashion. I was able to imagine, create, market artful designs, and at the same time help educate hundreds of girls around the world. As a full time mother and female entrepreneur in this era, I am so grateful for the opportunity.

But, in this day and age, where women are empowered to pursue their dreams and do it all, I struggled with the idea that if we really are expected to do it all? As women, we tend to shame ourselves into what may be societal norms… to be the best daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend, professional, and so on so forth. I slowly realized that the expectation to do all things well, on my own, was unfair and unreasonable. But, to ask for help or to take a break was a sign of wisdom, not failure.

I was blessed to be able to thrive, but more importantly I was blessed to learn how to stumble, and be ok with it. Thanks to my amazing tribe of strong family, friends and fans- I can embrace this journey like a boss, and be ladylike af. ✌️ ❤️
