How cute are these bears!!! My lovely customer had a fab idea, and asked me to include her husband's jeans! It was sew much fun, the jeans gave her bears plenty of character with each one turning out unique. I'm told these special bears will be saved for under the Christmas tree this year! 🎄

I've not been feeling the best this last week but I'm happy to have finished this order for a lovely lady in memory of her dad. As you can see he had fabulous taste in t-shirts. My favorite is the 'taco cat spelt backwards is taco cat' 🤣 I used all the zippers and pockets where I could to make extra interesting bears, I also like how the quilting on the plaid hearts make it look like they are covered in snow. Perfect for decorating a Christmas tree!

This biggest Handmade by Raccoon order yet. Completed! Thanks to Victoria for all the coffees and sandwiches along the way 🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely loved working with these shirts, and we chose to include all the oil and pen stains in the items. The things in my opinion showed that they had lived a life, the gentleman whom they are in memory of, was clearly a very hardworking man. And it was an honor to make them ❤ I hope the new owners love them!

Have you ever wondered what you can do with your old wedding dress? One of my customers came up with some great ideas so her daughter could use parts of the dress at her own wedding! I used some of the buttons and embellishments to make this bouquet holder you simply slide the flowers into the sleeve. The dress also had a pretty bow at the back that deserved center of attention on the front of a pillow!

I have been busy trying to get back into the groove of sewing this weekend! I've got the task of making 2 bears from this firefighters uniform, for 2 Little boys. Looking at how they construct firefighters uniform and what material they use is very interesting! Let me tell you this stuff is strong! I'm very happy with how the first one turned out, even manged to use some of the reflective material on his legs to make it look like he is wearing trousers! One down one to go!
