As a husband and wife design partnership we are delighted to offer you a product which owes its origin to the timely meeting of two great loves - one was the discovery of the exquisite range of Liberty of London Tana Lawn cotton prints and the way they can be employed like an artist's palette to produce vibrant applique images. The other was our new baby son for whom we wanted to make a truly pers

onalised keepsake. In fact Liberty London had applauded our use of their celebrated prints some years before. They rewarded us by offering our pram and cot quilts and bumpers for sale in their iconic London store. We gradually added other nursery items to our repertoire such as bibs, bags and applique pictures such as the clown shown here. Our designs were given prominent representation in a complete guide to nurseries - "Nursery Style" by Annie Sloan and Felicity Bryan. Returning to our initial inspiration for a unique baby gift, we decided to distill from our previous designs the elements of charm, colour, gentle textures and exquisite materials to produce what we believe is a desirable and accessible selection of beautiful handmade personalised baby blankets. We would just like to add that as Liberty do vary their print and colour ranges occasionally we may need to use alternative Liberty prints from those shown, but we will always maintain the same quality of applique - after all this is the essence of our design skill!
