The Wild Hunt sweeps across the Midwinter sky and is led by Odin. Mortals who are caught outdoors in its path can be dragged along for miles or never be seen again.
You can join by will, usually magic practitioners achieve a sort of astral projection while asleep. You will be cursed if you mock or laugh at the hunt.
The purpose of the Wild Hunt is a little uncertain, like the Sacrifice to the Elves, but it is perceived as another way for the living and the dead to interact between the veils.

Ullr is considered to be one of the eldest gods of the Norse pantheon and most of his mythology has been lost.
We do know that he is the son of Sif and Aurvandil—the morning star. He is the god of sports, particularly bow hunting and skiing. And he ruled over Asgard for a while when the Vanir took it from the Aesir.
