I had quite an ordeal yesterday.

Stepped out of the house with a tiny umbrella, under a heavy rain shower and items held on my right arm that dragged my weight in its direction.

I was soaked in the rain coupled with pains on both arms (I had to switch the item at intervals).

Arriving the bus stop to board a vehicle to my destination just to discover a NO MOVEMENT policy for commercial vehicles around my axis and that of where I'm headed (For full gist, check my timeline's recent video).

I had to shelter under a tiny canopy with a few others who were stranded. And the entire time, the floor was filled with water (the axis unfortunately lacks drainage system hence making the slightest rain shower ja mini flood, let alone a heavy rain. Almost a river to walk on🤦‍♀).

Oh, for the record I knew everywhere would be flooded but I went out regardless (I was headed for my shoe training). I had my SUPER SANDAL on. I call it super because it's at least 8months old and counting.

Few years back, two male friends of mine (names withheld) were having serious financial crisis (extremely broke) and almost fell into depression. They (let's call them A & B) both came in contact with a skill training that required about 10,000 naira for the enrollment and classes.
