Fun Fact: Babies sleep on average 5400 hours in their first year (out of a total of 8760). It seems like ALOT but it's only a few hours at a time.
There are many things that could influence a babies sleep quality, which could keep an already tired mom awake...even longer than necessary. Things like reflux, food allergies, and their environment affect this.
One thing we know that helps a baby sleep a little deeper is swaddling. The swaddle not only helps regulate their temperature and keep them safe while sleeping, it also mimics the snug feeling of the womb, offering comfort.
Generally swaddle can be used up to 3-4 months, when a baby starts rolling over.
