Hello Mommy!
You are doing well!
The baby measures about 34 cm long and weighs around 680 g, roughly the size of an acorn squash.
The skin is still thin and translucent but starting to become more opaque as fat accumulates beneath the surface.
The lungs are developing air sacs and producing surfactant, a substance that helps them inflate after birth. The baby practices breathing movements by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid.
Hearing is becoming more refined. The baby can recognize familiar voices and may respond to sounds or music.
Kicks, rolls, and stretches are stronger and more noticeable. The baby may have regular sleep and wake cycles.
Rapid brain development continues, forming connections that support sensory and motor functions.

Most expectant mothers have gained about 15–18 pounds (7–8 kg) by this stage, though this varies.
The uterus is now about the size of a soccer ball, sitting above the belly button and pushing other organs upward.
Stretch marks may appear on the abdomen, breasts, or thighs as the skin stretches.
The growing uterus can press on the diaphragm, causing shortness of breath. Posture changes may lead to back discomfort.
Slower digestion can cause heartburn, constipation, or bloating.
Increased blood volume may cause swelling in the feet or ankles and visible veins on the legs.
Finding a comfortable sleeping position becomes harder; side sleeping with a pillow between the knees can help.
Hormonal fluctuations may cause mood swings or anxiety about upcoming birth and parenting.

Congratulations on making it this far, keep up the good wark!

At 24 weeks pregnant — you’re about six months along, and both you and your baby are going through some exciting developments!

Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening:

👶 Baby Development.

Your baby is about the size of an ear of corn — roughly 30 cm long and weighing around 600 grams.
The skin is still thin and translucent, but it’s starting to fill out as fat begins to develop underneath.
The lungs are forming tiny air sacs (alveoli) and producing surfactant, a substance that helps them expand after birth.
Your baby is mastering sounds from the outside world — your voice, heartbeat, and even music!
Kicks and rolls are becoming stronger and more noticeable. You might even start to recognize patterns in your baby’s activity.

Your belly is growing noticeably, and your uterus is about the size of a soccer ball.
You might experience backaches, leg cramps, mild swelling in your ankles or feet, and possibly heartburn or indigestion.
As your uterus expands, it can press on your diaphragm, making you feel a bit short of breath.
Some women start to feel these “practice” contractions around this time — they’re usually mild and irregular.
Emotional Changes: Hormones can make your emotions fluctuate, and you might start feeling more connected to your baby as movements become stronger.

Hello Mommy!

At 23 weeks pregnant, your baby has grown quite a lot! Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening around this stage:

Your baby is about the size of a grapefruit, measuring around 27cm long and weighing just over about 500–600 grams.
The skin is still thin and a bit wrinkly, but it’s starting to fill out as fat develops. A fine layer of hair called lanugo still covers the body.
Movements: You’ll likely feel stronger kicks, flips, and rolls now. Baby is becoming more active and responsive to sounds and touch.
The lungs are developing tiny air sacs (alveoli), preparing for breathing after birth.
Hearing is improving — your baby can recognize your voice and may respond to loud noises.
The face is fully formed, and eyebrows and eyelashes are more visible.
Rapid brain development is happening, especially in areas that control the senses.

This is such a miraculous time, enjoy every moment. Book your ultrasound with us and meet your baby today🥰

Hello Mommy, at 22 weeks of pregnancy, the journey is well into the second trimester.

The little one is about the size of a papaya, weighing roughly 430–500 grams and measuring around 27–28 cm long. The baby’s senses are becoming more refined — the ears can pick up sounds from outside the womb, like voices and music, and the eyelids, though still fused, are developing rapidly along with the eyebrows and eyelashes. Fine hair called lanugo covers the body, and the skin, still a bit translucent, is starting to look less wrinkled as fat gradually builds up. Movements are stronger now, often felt as kicks, rolls, or stretches.

At this stage, the baby bump is more noticeable, and many women feel a steady rhythm of movement inside. Energy levels are often better than in the first trimester, though backaches, leg cramps, and mild swelling may start to appear as the body adapts to carrying more weight. The uterus has risen above the belly button, and breathing may feel a little different as organs shift to make space for the growing baby. Emotionally, excitement usually grows stronger as the pregnancy feels more real, especially with regular movements and often a mid-pregnancy scan around this time showing clear images of the baby.

Looking forward to see you at your next ultrasound appointment.

Hello Mommy!
You are at the halfway mark of your pregnancy, keep up the good work!

At 20 weeks, the baby is about the size of a banana, measuring around 16.5 centimetre from head to bottom and weighing about 298 grams. The baby’s skin is developing and covered with a protective coating called vernix caseosa. Facial features are more defined, and tiny eyebrows and eyelashes are forming. The baby is practicing swallowing and may even be sucking a thumb. Movements become more coordinated, and many moms start to feel gentle kicks and flutters.

At this halfway point, the baby bump is more noticeable, and weight gain becomes more apparent. Many moms experience increased energy and a healthy pregnancy glow. Common symptoms include mild swelling in the feet and ankles, backaches, and occasional heartburn. It’s a good time to focus on balanced nutrition, gentle exercise, and regular prenatal checkups.

Hello Mommy! Congratulations on making it this far🥰
Many exciting things are happening in your womb, let's take a look!
At 19 weeks of pregnancy, the foetus is rapidly growing and developing. Measuring about 15 to 16 centimeters long and weighing around 240 grams, the foetus is about the size of a mango. The skin is developing a protective coating called vernix caseosa, which helps shield it from the amniotic fluid.

Sensory development is progressing, with the brain designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. The foetus can now hear sounds from outside the womb, including the mother's heartbeat and voice. Arms and legs are in proportion, and movements become more coordinated, often felt as gentle kicks or flutters.

The kidneys are producing urine, and the digestive system is starting to function as the foetus swallows small amounts of amniotic fluid. Hair on the scalp is beginning to grow, and a fine layer of lanugo (soft hair) covers the body. Gender can often be identified through ultrasound at this stage, as the reproductive organs are well developed.

We are excited to see you at your next ultrasound!

Hello Mommy!
Congratulations your baby is about the size of a sweet potato —around 14 cm long and weighing about 190 grams.
Baby is becoming more active. You might start to feel gentle kicks, rolls, or flutters, often called "quickening."
Nerves are developing a protective covering called myelin, which helps messages travel faster between nerve cells.
The ears are now in their final position, and your baby may begin to hear sounds, including your heartbeat and external noises.
Facial muscles are developing, allowing for expressions like frowning or squinting.
Arms and legs are well-formed, and your baby can flex their joints.
The skin is still thin and translucent, but it’s developing layers and is covered with a protective coating called vernix caseosa.

Each pregnancy is an absolute miracle, book your ultrasound today and have a sneak peak into the life of your baby in the waiting womb.

Absolutely, here's a brief write-up about key developments during the 17th week of pregnancy:

At 17 weeks, your baby is growing and developing at an impressive rate. The baby is now about the size of a pear, measuring around 12.7 cm long from head to bottom, and weighs around 140 grams.

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — baby's lifeline — is growing stronger and thicker. Sweat glands are starting to develop, and your baby's heart is now regulated by the brain to beat 140 to 150 times per minute. That's about twice as fast as yours!

In terms of movement, your baby is becoming more active. You might start to feel a little fluttering in your belly, a sign your baby is moving about. This is often described as feeling like gas or bubbles.

For you, your belly is likely becoming more noticeable. You might also start to feel some movement in your belly as your baby becomes more active. Some women also notice changes in their skin due to the increase in hormones. This can range from a 'pregnancy glow' to more oily skin or breakouts.

Remember, every pregnancy is unique and these are general observations. Always consult with your healthcare provider for advice tailored to your specific situation.
