There is something powerful about a room full of women who are investing in themselves. ✨

I recently had the privilege of hosting a Women’s Style Workshop in Hazelwood, Pretoria, bringing together women across the legal profession — from call centre agents, candidate attorneys to admitted attorneys — for an afternoon centred around style, confidence and professional presence.

Because looking your best isn’t simply about fashion. It’s about understanding how you want to be seen and how your clothing can support the woman you are becoming.

We explored how to dress across different levels of formality — from elevated casual to polished corporate — while considering body shape, proportions, accessories and the small styling details that can transform an outfit.

But more than that, it was a celebration of women.

A reminder that investing in your appearance can be part of investing in your confidence, your career and your personal development.

Whether you’re stepping into your first professional role or leading a room with years of experience behind you, you deserve to feel confident in what you wear.

What a beautiful Women’s Month morning with inspiring ladies— a morning filled with style, gratitude, connection and meaningful conversations about empowering women in the workplace and creating space for the next generation of women to thrive.

It is such a privilege to share how personal style can become a powerful tool for confidence, presence and self-expression — while also celebrating the incredible impact that women can have when we support, mentor and uplift one another.

My heart is especially full after seeing so many women embracing the journey of discovering their own unique style and stepping into their confidence. 💕

Step into my office 💫 CAPSULE WARDROBE, BUT MAKE IT PERSONAL ✨

On Monday, I took my client shopping at Zara, Sandton City Shopping Centre — and this is what I wore for our styling day. 🤎

The brief? A sophisticated, versatile capsule wardrobe for a busy doctorthat would feel timeless, elegant and relaxed… without losing her personality.

Because a capsule wardrobe should never mean *boring*.

My client is an Expressive Dresser — she loves classic, timeless pieces, but she also wants those beautiful statement moments that make an outfit feel uniquely hers.

So we built her wardrobe around versatile foundations:

🖤 Black trousers
🖤 Black denim
🤎 Brown trousers
🤍 Long-sleeve basics & elevated T-shirts
✨ Statement blazers and distinctive pieces
🤎 Layering pieces that can move effortlessly from professional to relaxed

And Zara delivered some beautiful finds — including these gorgeous statement pieces that bring personality into an otherwise timeless wardrobe.

August has been a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. 🤍

I had the privilege of speaking to a wonderful group of women about something that has been at the heart of my work for many years — the importance of image, presentation and the way we represent ourselves.

For me, image consulting has never been about simply looking good. It’s about understanding the message we communicate before we even say a word — and learning how to make our appearance reflect who we are, where we are going and how we want to show up in the world.

There is something incredibly special about being in a room filled with women, sharing ideas, learning together and encouraging one another to step into the next season with confidence.

This is the part of my work I love most: educating, empowering and reminding women that presentation is not about perfection — it’s about intentionality.

One of these reds has a warm (yellow) undertone, while the other has a cool (blue) undertone.

The difference is subtle—but once you learn to recognise undertones, you'll start to understand why some colours make you look radiant while others leave you looking tired.
