We’ve all been there!

Even the most ambitious mama in the office will need to scroll through a gazillion photos before getting to that screen shot from Shein which she wanted to show you.

Just this past weekend whilst visiting the grandparents, we were paging through an old photo album and realised how important it is to still continue to print photos and capture them in a photo album.

Yes the digital era allows us to share, edit and capture perfect moments so conveniently but when was the last time you pulled out that folder named ‘Our first year’ and took a scroll through memory lane … or do we even know where those photos and video are saved?

A physical photo album takes a bit of time, effort and money to compile but your future self will thank you (;

How true is this though?

We call this multitasking but did you know that according to research, multitasking can reduce your productivity with up to 40%!

It can also be mentally exhausting and leave you feeling unaccomplished.

From the experts:

- Give your full attention to one task at a time. (We know this can become difficult with kids, but when possible, ask them for 5 minutes to enable you to finish the task).
- Stay organised & plan ahead. Use your calendar app, a diary or our gorgeous weekly planner from the previous post (hint hint, nudge nudge … It really makes a difference!)
- Ask for help. Ask your partner to keep the kids busy, unpack the dishwasher or whichever task you need to assist you to complete your list more effectively.

And remember … you are not alone!

– The lyrics to the classic song Vienna from Billy Joel was released in 1977 but little did we know just how much weight these words could carry.

Parenthood can be extremely overwhelming and overstimulating - it does not feel like it in the moment, but the day will come where you can have your warm cup of coffee, sleep in on a Saturday morning, have a perfectly clean and neat home with no tiny socks or toys lying around…but for now, while in the midst of the storm, try to slow down and find peace in this season.

Madré is the designer of the things you find in the online store, and the one who cuts the huge label sheets after printing. Yes, we do that manually! 💪

Desireé is the organiser, client liason and superwoman 😎 who deals with orders from the moment you set your eyes on a product, until you hold your parcel in your hands ... and even beyond.

Together we brainstorm new ideas, develop products and most importantly of all, have a lot of fun while doing so!

We would like to thank you for all your orders the past few years. Not only did you buy a random product online, you supported a small little business that enables us to provide for our families and we are soooo soooo grateful! 😘
