3 Things to consider when launching your business

1. Your target market. It's very important to understand the customers you have come to serve. It's not everyone. The more clearly you can define your target customers, the more you can tailor your product and strategy to suit them.

2. Your competitors. Who is already operating in that market? What is their pricing? What do the customers complain about, what are they happy with? This will show you what to capitalise on to gain competitive advantage.

3. Your brand message. The first cut is always the deepest. During the first months of launching your business you must pay attention to the message you're giving to your target customers. What do you want them to know you for? Affordability? Luxury? Speed? Durability? Whatever it is make sure you are deliberate in communicating it.
