Story time

This was the first outfit produced under the MJ brand, for a client who also happened to be my sister ❤️. As with most young things, back then I can honestly say I was daring & full of confidence; blissfully ignorant of the challenges that lay ahead. It was a beautiful time... I worked all night on it, not feeling an ounce of fatigue. To my sincere surprise - the outcome was a success! But little did I know a number of losses would eventually accompany that win; loses that would lead me to feelings of shame, guilt and embarrassment. Loses that would lead me to question myself, to question my gifts and to question my journey. In the midst of the internal battles being faced, I dimmed my own light and my passion soon became a living hell...
HOWEVER - today I am proud to say it's through the tough times that man is moulded into their best version. As cliche as it may sound, there really is never a loss but a lesson. All it takes is a change of perception (bars. - WhAt whaat 🗣️) . This has been a resounding truth for me. Have anyone of you ever experienced a major loss or struggled with self confidence? Let us know how you dealt with it in the comments there's someone out there who *needs* to hear your story
