MOMENTS WHEN MYSELF HAS TO PUNISH ME

As we stepped into the last quarter of the year, I felt it was time for me to do a bit of self-reflection. To be candid, based on my potential and targets for this year, my performance has been less than stellar. As a result, I have decided to take some extreme measures to ensure I get back on track and score 100% my targets.

I know how hash myself can be on myself if targets are not met, but I am glad that myself has this time been a little lenient on myself by self-inflicting only four inconveniences as jolts one needs to refocus, reevaluate, and reignite their determination.

1. I love my hair and I have a special haircut that compliments the shape of my head but as punishment, myself forced myself to shave my head bald for not achieving the targets.
After clean shaving my head, myself further threatened myself that if 2023 targets are still not met,then there won't be any hair cuts going forward.

2. Myself has vowed not to allow myself travel business class until we meet the targets. For now myself will have to fly economy until further notice from myself🤦‍♂️🫣.

3. On food and accommodation, myself has indicated that no more Five Star Hotels🙆‍♂️.

4. Finally, myself has banished myself from air conditioning in my car and office🤔. Should you see my vehicle window open, please understand that someone is under punishment🤫😓.

Why, you ask? Well, it's simple. Sometimes, we hold our employees and subordinates accountable for underperformance by terminating contracts but the question is, how do you hold yourself accountable?

3. A man whose wife is pregnant has good 9 months to prepare, same as the pregnant woman in question. They should even plan for the worse and only seek help when they can’t meet up.
4. Some problems in our lives don’t just pop up, if you don't own a home, we knew we would pay rents...So its not an emergency.
5. Let’s plan our lives and live within our means. Save more and spend less.
6. Some women buy food for their children every morning before going to school or even for the whole family, do you know it’s cheaper to cook at home?
7. Some people don’t earn much, but have DSTV at home, go for GOTV and upgrade when your income upgrades. It’s still the same CNN anyway!
