Grateful for the moment. Some rooms remind you that the vision was never small.
Arriving at the Arts Merit Awards surrounded by brilliant creatives and fellow nominees was a powerful reminder that purpose attracts its own platform. What began as a vision to narrate African identity through design has now entered rooms where culture, excellence and legacy are being shaped.
Tocar Narrations was never only about clothing it is about storytelling, discipline, and honouring where we come from while building where we are going.
Grateful for the conversations, the energy, and the creatives who continue to push the culture forward. Moments like these are not the destination… they are confirmation that the narrative is growing.

The visions of the Future.

This is to the reflection of my childhood. Growing up I didn’t have the favorite clothing style let alone own best piece in my “bag”. Because clothes came in either big or small, most of the time preloved. This is to “izigamba”. My guardians would usually say “ yeman selihlezi kuhle selilahla impahla” ihaba🤌🏿 One day I will tell you all about it 😉.
