Sharks often receive highly negative press surrounding their behaviour, especailly towards humans, which is, of course, blown out of proportion by the media.

It is crucial to understand these creatures to, 1) avoid risk (if any), and 2) learn about their characteristics, signs, language and how to interact safely.

After all, there is no such thing as 'shark-infested water.' What would be more fitting is - 'human-infested homes.'
