Technical Coordinator – GRC / GRP Factory

Role Summary

The Technical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating technical activities related to Glassfiber Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and Glassfiber Reinforced Plastic (GRP) production, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Acts as a link between engineering, production, quality, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Review shop drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate between design, production, QA/QC, and site teams
• Prepare and manage method statements, material submittals, and mockups
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards
• Support production with technical solutions and approvals
• Monitor production progress and resolve technical issues
• Coordinate inspection requests and approvals with consultants/clients
• Maintain technical documentation and revision control
• Assist in cost optimization and value engineering
• Support testing of materials (GRC mix, GRP laminates, curing, strength tests)

Technical Skills & Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of GRC & GRP manufacturing processes
• Understanding of molds, mix designs, spraying, casting, curing
• Familiar with ASTM / BS / EN standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural & structural drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Materials Engineering
• 3–7 years experience in GRC / GRP factories or façade industries
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
