Inst I have a passion for millinery and all things hats!

What started as a quick hat to suit a dress has grown in to award winning designs. Winning the Dubai World Cup Jaguar Style Stakes has been the highlight so far and driving off in a Jaguar for a year was the bonus! I've gone back to win Best Dressed Runner up in 2013 & 2015 and been a finalist in the Best Hat and Best Dressed Jaguar Style Stakes 2014 and Epsom Derby 2014. My hats have also been shortlisted in the Melbourne Cup, Melbourne Derby Day and Melbourne Crown Oaks Day 2013. One of my pieces has also featured in the Buckingham Palace Garden Party. This is a labour of love and I'm enjoying every minute living my dream creating bespoke pieces for all occasions.

Ladies’ Day at the RDS 2026 ✨

I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful cape dress by Marion Murphy Cooney. The colour, the movement and the effortless elegance of it all 💕

I could see no other way of styling it than with a nod to the timeless elegance of the 60s through this turban style hat finished in a little rose detail to pull it all together, while also bringing in a little of the Middle Eastern heritage that has influenced and inspired me so much over the years.

It just felt right. And honestly, I felt like a queen wearing it. ✨
I love a vintage look and this one is one of my favorites!

A perfect welcome home to my home track and the start of the summer racing season in Kerry.

A vision, a short timeline, and complete trust in the process.
The result was this timeless bespoke piece in the softest muted tones, shimmering in the Killarney sunshine beneath a sweep of elegant veiling and a backdrop of the stunning mountains.

It was an absolute joy to see Niamh de Brún-Reid glide effortlessly through Killarney Racecourse wearing this creation.
Sometimes the most beautiful pieces come together in the least amount of time.

Day 3 of Royal Ascot, traditionally Ladies’ Day at is always one of the most anticipated days of the week, and this year felt especially meaningful.

I had the pleasure of wearing a beautiful piece from Mana a new Dubai -based brand created by an Irish designer. Wherever possible, I love championing Irish design, and this felt like the perfect occasion. We connected long before the brand was born, and the moment I saw this outfit, I knew it was destined for Ladies’ Day at Ascot.

The structured silhouette immediately captured my attention. There is a subtle Victorian influence in the tailoring, balanced beautifully by the tulip sleeve detail, cinched waist, and padded peplum that held its shape effortlessly throughout the day. Elegant, refined, and impeccably executed.

My hat a stunning monochrome, a large circular design with a sweeping basket weave white brim that sits elegantly on a side angle.

I am always looking for ways to introduce a fresh perspective to structured millinery, and this piece felt both classic and contemporary. It was finished with delicate vintage Japanese silk flowers, treasures I discovered in Sydney, adding a softness to the bold silhouette.

The hat was light as air, the tailoring was sharp and sophisticated, and together they created the monochrome statement I envisioned.

Accessories were kept timeless; my trusted Dolce & Gabbana Sicily bag, a piece that has accompanied me to many memorable occasions, shades vintage & gloves vintage.
One of those outfits where every element felt exactly as it should be. Elegant, considered, and perfect for a Royal Ascot look.

ROYAL ASCOT | DAY 2 ❤️
Keeping the red theme this piece has travelled a journey before arriving at Royal Ascot.
Originally created for Dubai World Cup, it was designed during a period of uncertainty and unrest.
The sweeping twist became my interpretation of the storm around us the feeling of being caught in a hurricane while still finding the strength to move forward.

Living in the UAE for over 22 years has influenced my work in so many ways. The woven texture within this piece is inspired by traditional Arabic craftsmanship, a small tribute to a culture that has shaped both my life and my creativity.

After meeting Her Excellency Noura Al Kaabi and discussing a previous design, I found myself wanting to explore that connection even further through my work.

For me, this piece represents strength, resilience and hope. Within the movement of the design, a flower emerges, a reminder that beauty can grow from challenge and that new beginnings often come from the most unexpected places.

As designers, we create from our experiences. Every piece tells a story. This one tells mine.

I paired it with a modified version of my Dubai World Cup dress, redesigned to meet the Royal Enclosure dress code by my talented friend Colleen, who created the beautiful cross-back detail. Comfortable, elegant and perfect for a warm Royal Ascot afternoon.

✨ Royal Ascot 2026 – Day One ✨
The highlight of the season has arrived.

There is nowhere quite like Royal Ascot. The style, elegance, creativity, and atmosphere make it one of the events I look forward to most each year.
I wore this beautiful dress from Ridley London, paired with one of my signature millinery creations.
I’m often asked, “What do you choose first, the hat or the outfit?” For me, it’s always the hat. The millinery sets the tone, and everything else follows.
A huge thank you to Camilla and the team at Ridley London for their wonderful hospitality. It was such a pleasure to visit her beautiful atelier straight off the plane, try on so many stunning pieces, and find the perfect dress to complement this statement hat.

Tomato red was the color of the week and it was truly captured in this dress & hat combo.
The sun shone, the racing delivered, and the fashion was spectacular.
Day One complete, and what a wonderful start!

What a truly spectacular day at the 30th anniversary of the Dubai World Cup ✨🐎 and number 20 for me 🫶

I am so honoured to have been one of the judges for the Style Stakes Fashion competition on such a historic year for the Dubai World Cup.

We had an incredible day, surrounded by elegance, creativity and style from so many wonderful contestants.

I was blessed to be alongside an amazing judging panel .secretshopper & Nicholas beautifully hosted by and who created such an inviting and relaxed atmosphere that made every contestant feel at ease as they took to the stage 🌟

A truly memorable day, and a huge congratulations to & for delivering such a successful event despite the many challenges along the way.
It was an unforgettable celebration of fashion, racing and the incredible spirit of Dubai 🏆💫

There’s something about black and white that never dates making it the perfect addition to any hat collection.
