FAILURE HAS LEVELS.

20 mm edge. Added weight. And pull.

Once I hit my limit, I drop some weight and keep going.

Limit again. Drop the rest.

Then it’s just bodyweight, tired fingers and whatever pulling strength is left.

Basically a drop set — but on a 20 mm edge.

For climbing, strength isn’t only about how hard you can pull when you’re fresh. It’s also about how much you can still produce when your fingers and pulling muscles are already tired.

Training close to failure can be a useful tool for that. But going all the way to failure every time isn’t necessary — and probably isn’t a great idea either.

This is not how I train every session.

Sometimes I just like to see how many levels “I’m done” actually has.

Turns out: more than one.

The next batch is now available and will be shipped within the next two weeks.

Once this batch is gone, production moves on to the next round.

If you’ve been thinking about getting one, now is a good time.

On April 12th, I was featured by Aden Wang.

What happened next was something I never expected.

Since then, the orders just haven’t stopped coming in. No matter how much I produce, it always feels like I’m falling behind. While I’m working through one batch, new orders and inquiries keep piling up.

I’ve now worked 8 weekends in a row.

My average sleep since April has been around 5 hours per night.

And please don’t get me wrong: I’m incredibly grateful for this. Every small business owner dreams of having more demand than they can handle.

But I’m also starting to realize that this pace isn’t sustainable.

What bothers me most is that I barely have any time left for development projects and new ideas—the part of my work that I enjoy the most.

So I’d genuinely like to hear your opinion.

If you were in my position, what would you do?

A) Raise prices

B) Increase lead times

C) Release products only in limited batches

D) Hire help

E) Something else

And if you’re a customer: which option would feel the fairest to you?

I read every comment.

Subtle announcement that I restocked the shop.

After weeks of being sold out, I’m finally packing orders again.

The shop has been restocked since yesterday — thank you so much for your patience, your support, and all the kind messages in the meantime.

As always, everything is made step by step and continuously restocked.

People love to make strength training look like a lifestyle thing.

Meanwhile strength is just… useful sometimes.

Especially if you work with your hands.

People often ask me how to start pull-up training.

My advice:
keep it simple.

Most beginners don’t need huge equipment or complicated programs.
They need a setup that feels natural and helps them build control first.

A closer grip usually makes pull-ups easier to learn in the beginning.
The movement feels more controlled, while the biceps can assist more.

From there, you can slowly progress:
dynamic pull-ups, mantles, one-arm holds… and eventually classic pegboarding too.

And once you feel confident on the board,
you can even expand it with the Ant Enna pull-up bar for wider grip pull-ups.

But the most important part is consistency.

Pull-up training takes time.
Progress comes from turning training into a routine.

Simple setup.
A lot of possibilities.

55555 challenge – upgraded to a 25mm edge on the fingerboard.

Came across this via .fitness and later again through .
Originally meant for a pull-up bar – I wanted to see how it translates to a smaller edge.

Less about pulling, more about holding tension and controlling the fingers.
The transitions between each phase feel noticeably more precise this way.

For me, it’s more of a consistent test of grip strength and body tension than a max effort.

Conclusion: challenging, but not destructive

That escalated quickly!

I’ll take it as a compliment.

Original is still here.
